Dear ICRA 2005 Authors,

You are requested to follow these instructions carefully to produce and submit your FINAL paper to IEEE ICRA 2005. Authors must submit their accepted papers in a Portable Document Format (PDF), electronically via Web upload from 3 to 20 January, 2005.

Please follow the instructions closely.
Papers failing to meet the final format requirements may be rejected.

Instructions

1. Modify your submitted paper taking into account the recommendations and comments included in its reviews (you can get papers reviews log in your ICRA 2005 web account). Paper format instructions are available here.

2. Generate and check for Xplore compliance, the PDF file for your paper. IEEE is very strict about the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®.

You have two options

A) Generate the PDF paper file using PDF eXpress
PDF eXpress is a tool for IEEE authors to obtain Xplore-compatible files, by using either the PDF Check or Source File Conversion functions. Please, if you use the Source File Conversion functions, check the obtained PDF file.

B) Generate the PDF paper file yourself
Please follow the detailed instructions in "IEEE PDF File Preparation Guide for IEEE Xplore" that describe the main steps in distilling PDFs that meet the IEEE requirements.

3. Generate a PDF file for your paper digest. There will be a conference paper digest as part of the Conference Final Program. The paper digest must be prepared and submitted as per the Digest Template to achieve the best and consistent result for the conference paper digest.

4. Submit the PDF Xplore-compatible paper file and the PDF paper digest file by January 20, 2005.

In order to have accurate and consistent information of the paper title, authors and affiliations in the Final Program (and thus the Table of Contents of the Conference Proceedings) and in the final paper PDF file, please update your final paper information (paper title, authors and affiliations, paper abstract) on the upload Web site as per the posted instructions, when submitting the final paper PDF files. For paper and digest download, info update log in your ICRA 2005 web account and select the "Final Paper Upload" button.
